a few Baptist believers had a desire to worship God together in their small community of Sulphur Springs. There were no churches constructed in the area and a building in the area was used on a rotational basis with an African Methodist Episcopal congregation. The owner decided to sell the property to the first congregation that raised one hundred dollars. We are eternally grateful that Springhill was blessed with the finances.
